What To Expect

Paper & Quality

Here at Legacy Loft, we're pretty obsessed with paper – from shiny pearlized to textured linen. We print on only the highest quality paper, which is sure to impress your guests. We typically print our stationery using digital printers, which allow for a full color scale and endless options for embellishments.

Samples & Proofs

At Legacy Loft, our goal is to create invitations and wedding paper goods that you're proud to show off. We'll send you a digital proof first, so you can review and approve everything before they're sent to print. Since colors can vary slightly between the computer screen and printed ink, we can also send you a free printed sample.

Invitation Timeline

When should I send out my save the dates and invitations?

Save the dates should go out about six months before the wedding, or eight to ten months for destination weddings. If you're sending save the dates, your wedding Invitations should go out four to eight weeks before the wedding; otherwise, send them about six months out.

How long does it take to receive my invitation order?

Depending on what you're ordering, your invitations should arrive between 4 - 8 weeks. Personalizing a current Legacy Loft collection is the fastest option, while custom orders can take a few weeks to complete. You can help speed the process along by making sure to provide all of the information we need to design your stationery, as well as being quick to provide approval of the proofs we send. Standard printing and shipping takes about a week, with some extra time for any post-print embellishments such as ribbon, lace, pearls, rhinestones, etc.

Rush Orders

We do accept rush orders and will work with you on a custom order-by-order basis to develop a budget and timeline that works for you.

Custom Order Process

When ordering custom invitations, we'll first start with a call to chat about your wedding details and what stationery items you'll need. From there, we'll send you a custom quote with options for various paper types or embellishments. Once you decide on what to order, we'll start gathering inspiration. We'll want to see your wedding Pinterest board to get a better feel for your theme and colors. Then the fun begins — we'll start designing your invitations, giving you three options to choose from. We'll tweak those until they're perfect, then move on to designing the remainder of your suite items and send everything to print! For day-of stationery, such as menus, place cards and programs, we'll work on those closer to your wedding once you have all of the info you need for them.
